Fellow US Open winner Thiem was also absent from the list.
The 30-year-old Austrian recently announced his retirement from tennis at the end of 2024 after an injury-hit few years due to a wrist injury he suffered in 2021.
Thiem reached the French Open final in 2018 and 2019, but won’t receive a wild card from the tournament in his farewell season
Halep, who won the French Open in 2018, did not receive one either after her return to the WTA Tour.
Halep is scheduled to return to clay for the first time in over two years this week as she competes at the Trophee Clarins on the WTA 125 circuit, a tournament for which she was given a wild card.
Richard Gasquet and Ajla Tomljanovic are among those who do feature on the wild card list.
