Mandy Sacs, who gained widespread recognition as Mandy Rose during her stint in WWE, first entered the spotlight of professional wrestling through the reality television show “Tough Enough.” A native of Westchester County, Mandy quickly became known for her dramatic flair and hints of the villainous persona she would later adopt in the wrestling ring. On a recent episode of “Power Alphas,” Mandy reminisced about how her participation in the reality show unearthed a sassier, more confrontational side of her personality that she hadn’t previously known existed.
Reflecting on her experience, Mandy admitted, “I became like ‘the b****’ on ‘Tough Enough.’ Having never been on a reality show before, it was a completely new experience for me. The format required us to stir up drama, something I wasn’t accustomed to in my everyday life. In reality, I avoid confrontation.” Despite the tension and drama, the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion remained focused on showcasing her athletic abilities. “My primary goal was to demonstrate my athleticism,” Mandy explained. “I worked incredibly hard to prove myself.”
However, merely excelling in athleticism wasn’t enough to make her stand out in the competitive environment of “Tough Enough.” Mandy was eventually approached by wrestling icons Lita (Amy Dumas) and Chris Jericho, who offered her some crucial advice. “One day, Lita and Chris Jericho pulled me aside,” Mandy recalled. The legendary wrestlers acknowledged her athletic prowess but pointed out that she needed to amplify her personality to succeed. “They told me, ‘You’re doing great athletically, but there’s something missing. You need to bring more sass and create some drama.'”
This guidance was pivotal for Mandy, as it helped her understand the importance of blending athleticism with a strong, engaging personality in professional wrestling. “I appreciated their help and took their advice to heart,” she said. Mandy’s ability to embrace this feedback and incorporate it into her performance played a significant role in her development as a character and ultimately contributed to her success in WWE.
Will Mady Scas re-sign with WWE or join AEW?
In a recent interview with Monopoly Events, Mandy Rose revealed that she might consider returning to WWE. Apparently, there is some unfinished business that she needs to take care of. In the interview, she said:
“I would do it for the aspect of there was some unfinished business, and we really cut it, and Toxic Attraction was so amazing, and as much as some things didn’t pan out the way I wanted I do feel a little bit. I do feel bad, a little bit, and a little guilty in the sense of like we had something going on so amazing and I kind of feel for the girls in the group because they don’t hold it against me or anything. But, you know it’s just one of those things where maybe there is something in the future. So I’ll never say never. I don’t think the door is fully shut. The boots aren’t totally hung up, so you’ll just have to wait and see.”
She also added that she is happy with how her life is progressing and does not miss wrestling that much. Only time will tell if we will see this former WWE Superstar back in the ring.
