The Pole’s revised schedule was shared by her PR manager after she announced her decision to withdraw from the China Open and Korea Open.

“For personal reasons, I have to withdraw from the China Open in Beijing. I’m very sad because I had a great time there and won last year. I couldn’t wait to go back there. The fans will be able to see great tennis there. I regret I won’t be part of it.”
Last year, Swiatek lost just one set before winning her sixth WTA 1000 title in what was her tournament debut in Beijing. Additionally, this year, she has won four out of the eight WTA 1000 events.
The Polish tennis star could have also been seen playing in Seoul at the Korea Open last week but she also withdrew from the same, citing fatigue as a reason. But, much to her fans’ happiness, the World No.1’s PR manager, Paula Wolecka shed some details on when the Polish tennis star might be making a comeback which happens to be in Wuhan next month.
“The next tournament for which Iga has registered is the competition in Wuhan. No decisions have been made yet regarding Swiatek’s participation in the Billie Jean King Cup tournament in Malaga, Spain.”
Swiatek had her fair share of victories this year and with her unfortunate US Open exit amongst other things, she is now looking forward to picking up her form and securing her ranking.
