LeBron James and Bronny James made history on Tuesday night, becoming the first father-son duo to play in a NBA game together.
The James duo played a couple of minutes together in the Los Angeles Lakers’ season opener at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves during the second quarter.
Before they took the court together, a mic’d-up LeBron James gave some really sweet advice to Bronny James about playing in his first NBA game.
“You ready?” LeBron James asked Bronny James as the two sat on the bench before their big moment. “Just play care free… go out and play hard.”
If this doesn’t hit you in the feels just a bit, we’re not sure what will.

“REPORT: LeBron James is expected to play “at least” 2 more years in the NBA and potentially a 3rd, per Shams Charania,” posted by the Lakers Daily on their X account.
At 39 years of age, James has still not shown signs that age is catching up to him. Last season in the 71 games that he featured in, he averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists.
It is expected that James will carry on with the same intensity he played last season. Basketball Reference did a projection of the veteran star and it came out that James will average 26.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game in the upcoming season.
